JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our Partner Management and Operations team, supporting our Rest of World region—with a particular focus on China and Asia. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of high-impact projects across Study Group’s global operations, covering areas such as people, processes, and technology. Your primary responsibility will be to drive projects forward, monitor progress across multiple workstreams, maintain compliance standards, and deliver clear, insightful updates to the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews at key project stages to identify risks, assess progress, and recommend certain actions when necessary. 
  • Support the Head of Mobilisation and Projects in shaping projects, ensuring key milestones and deliverables align with wider programme dependencies and business objectives.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including University partners and other business collaborators, ensuring alignment with programme goals. 
  • Drive projects forward by coordinating resources, tracking dependencies, and ensuring deliverables are met within scope, on time, and within budget. 
  • Foster effective communication within and across project teams, tailoring messages to different audiences to enhance collaboration and ensure clarity. 
  • Develop project charters (including scope, objectives, deliverables, benefits, resourcing and governance structure), involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate progress and issues as required, including to project steering committees.

ABOUT YOU:
  • Strong track record in stakeholder management, including resolving conflicting priorities and achieving consensus among diverse groups. 
  • Strong experience in helping shape and define project attributes.
  • Skilled in proactive risk management and the ability to intervene effectively when necessary to realign them with strategic objectives. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience adapting styles and messages for varied audiences and international contexts. 
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands across multiple projects, managing time and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Experience in the International Education sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) would be highly advantageous.
  • Working within Prince2 or similar project management methodology.
