As a Partnership Development Manager for University Partnerships, you will be responsible for delivering strategic partnerships between our organization and universities in North America. You will be an expert in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the higher education sector, including university leadership, faculty, and other relevant parties. Your primary focus will be on identifying, developing, and executing partnership opportunities that align with our organization's objectives and contribute to our growth and success.

ABOUT THE ROLE  
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities with universities in North America. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential partnerships, conduct research to understand market trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university leadership, faculty, and other relevant stakeholders. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in the field of university partnerships, and effectively communicate our organization's vision, mission, and value proposition to potential partners.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, collaboration agreements, and other relevant legal documents.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and marketing, to ensure smooth implementation and execution of partnerships, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Responsible for identification and launch of new product offerings within the NA portfolio. 
  • Identify opportunities for sharing best and new practice in growth and innovation across Study Group.
  • Contribute to regional and global projects and initiative on growth and innovation.
  • Provide Partner Development input and perspective to the stakeholders across Partnerships team and NA SAM teams.
  • Stay abreast of trends and developments in the higher education sector and Analyze and interpret market intelligence to identify new partnership opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Represent our organization at relevant conferences, workshops, seminars, and other events to raise awareness of our brand, promote our partnership opportunities, and establish thought leadership in the field of university partnerships. Serve as an ambassador for our organization and maintain a positive and professional image in all interactions.
ABOUT YOU  
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Significant experience of senior and strategic partnership within a large educational establishment (circa 1000 students) in North America 
  • Demonstrable understanding of academic management and knowledge of educating international students
  • Proven experience in delivering academic excellence whilst meeting financial and commercial targets
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills with an ability to innovate within an academic context.
  • Ability to lead with a clear sense of purpose and direction.
  • A demonstrable capacity to think strategically, identify innovative solutions to challenges and develop long term plans which align with organizational strategy.
